What Is Official-Warlord Mixture (官殺混雜) in BaZi?

Overview
Official-Warlord Mixture is the workbook standard English name for 官殺混雜, the coexistence of usable Proper Officer and Seven Killing signals that have not been cleanly separated. The source warns against judging by coexistence alone: exposure versus concealment, seasonal support, roots, damage, relative weight and a valid remove-one-retain-one route determine whether a mixture remains. A clear route may preserve Proper Officer and remove Killing, or preserve Killing and remove Officer. If neither removal is effective, mediation through proportionate control or rooted Resource may still matter. OpenFate has a bounded Officer–Killing mixture evidence signal when both visible roles are present; it is not an all-school verdict or a character label.

A real mixture requires two effective power routes, not two words in the chart
Proper Officer and Seven Killing both control the Day Master but differ by polarity. A chart can contain both names while one is hidden, rootless, out of season, combined away or otherwise ineffective. The source therefore asks which signal is timely, visible, rooted and supported before retaining the mixture label.
Exposure matters, but it is not the only rule. The detailed discussion compares month command, stem exposure, branch roots, relative weight and damage. A stronger supported route can become primary, while a weak counter-signal remains secondary evidence rather than an equal competitor.

Remove-one-retain-one must identify the actual mechanism and its effectiveness
Classical clarification can remove Killing and retain Proper Officer or remove Officer and retain Killing. Eating God, Hurting Officer, combinations and Day-Master polarity affect which route is possible; “combined” can mean drawn toward the Day Master or removed by another stem, so the participants must be stated.
If the removing star is weak, remote or itself damaged, the mixture remains. When removal is incomplete, proportionate Output control or rooted Resource transformation may mediate Killing, but Wealth can strengthen power or damage Resource. No single rescue word replaces the full sequence.

The current OpenFate structure layer records Officer–Killing mixture when Proper Officer and Seven Killing are both visible, then distinguishes formed from contested according to their effectiveness. It also exposes clear Officer, Output control and rooted-Resource transformation evidence.
That implementation is intentionally narrower than every classical school: hidden-stem competition, every remove-and-retain permutation and all timing resolutions are not collapsed into one label. Read the status, participants and blockers together; this Wiki page does not widen the engine rule or rewrite saved reports.

Relationship, employment, legal, medical and financial decisions require consent, behavior and current evidence. Use mixture as a technical question about competing structural routes, not as a label for the person.
