Overview

Blade Transforms into Mentor is the workbook label for 刃化為印, whose source heading is more fully 陽刃化印, “Yang Blade Transforms into Seal.” The passage is narrow: a Wu Earth Day Master born in Wu month would ordinarily read Ji Earth inside Wu as Yang Blade, but abundant Fire in the year or hour strengthens Ding Fire Resource, so the month is reread through Resource rather than Blade. Its example, Wu-Yin, Wu-Wu, Wu-Wu, Wu-Wu, adds Jia Wood Seven Killing in Yin; Jia controls Earth and produces Fire, while Yin-Wu supports a Fire grouping. Ren-Gui Water Wealth that damages Fire Resource is a stated problem. This is not a general rule for every Yang Blade or every Resource-rich chart. OpenFate exposes the ingredients but has no dedicated detector.

The original Yang-Blade heading is a Wu-day, Wu-month reclassification rule

For a Wu Earth Day Master, Wu month carries Ji Earth, which the passage calls the Blade, and Ding Fire, which is Proper Resource. When Fire is repeated in the year or hour, the source says not to stop at the Blade label: the strong Fire channel makes Resource the more useful reading.

This is not literal elemental transformation and it does not erase Ji Earth from the branch. It is a classification choice based on which hidden participant dominates the structure. Extending it to Jia-Mao, Bing-Wu, Geng-You or Ren-Zi Yang-Blade cases would require separate source rules that this passage does not provide.

  • Confirm Wu Day Master, Wu month and actual Fire reinforcement.
  • Treat “transforms” as a structural rereading, not a physical change.

The example links Seven Killing, Fire Resource and the absence of damaging Water

In Wu-Yin, Wu-Wu, Wu-Wu, Wu-Wu, Jia Wood is stored in Yin as Seven Killing. Jia controls Earth and produces Fire, while Yin and Wu support Fire. The source therefore reads an interconnected Killing-to-Resource route rather than three repeated Wu branches in isolation.

Ren or Gui Water is Wealth to Wu Earth and controls Fire Resource, so the passage treats a Water bureau as damaging. It also gives a special explanation for repeated Wu peers sharing later Wealth. Those are source-specific interactions, not permission to call all Water bad or all peer competition protective.

  • Trace Jia Wood, Ding Fire, Ji Earth and any Water as separate participants.
  • Evaluate the resulting route instead of assigning fixed good or bad elements.

OpenFate can audit the hidden stems and groups without changing its current Yang-Blade logic

OpenFate calculates the Day Master, month branch, hidden stems, Yang Blade, Resource, Seven Killing, Wealth, seasonal strength and branch combinations. These fields make the source example transparent.

There is no dedicated Blade Transforms into Mentor result. Future implementation would need the narrow Wu-day rule, Fire-force thresholds, hidden-stem precedence, Water damage, Killing participation, luck separation and negative fixtures. The article does not rewrite existing Yang-Blade calculations or reports.

  • Use current evidence fields without broadening the detector.
  • Keep the workbook English label and the precise Yang-Blade source term together.

Blade and Seal are technical symbols, not violence, scholarship or rank predictions

The pattern does not prove aggression, danger, courage, intelligence, education, authority, public office, wealth, conflict, health or lifespan. Its historical comparison with robbery is not a behavioral diagnosis.

Safety, hiring, education, financial and medical decisions require observed conduct and qualified evidence. Never label a person violent or gifted because a branch is called Yang Blade or Resource.

  • Exclude violence, intelligence, rank, wealth and health claims.
  • Do not convert technical vocabulary into identity.
