Day Sitting on Heavenly Wealth is the workbook standard English name for 日坐天財. The transmitted passage is unusually compressed: its heading says the day sits on Heavenly Wealth, its setup mentions Earth controlling Water as Wealth and Water’s tomb at Chen, while its verse begins “the year stem controls below,” and its cited chart has a Geng-Chen day. Those pieces do not reduce to one transparent modern Ten-God rule. A responsible reading preserves the source tension instead of reverse-engineering a universal wealth detector from one example. At most, the passage links a controlling stem, a Wealth element and that element’s storage branch, then requires full-chart verification. The heading, setup, verse and example do not state one clean modern rule
The prose says Wu or Ji Earth controls Water as Wealth and Water stores in Chen. The verse then says a year stem controlling what lies below is Heavenly Wealth, while the named chart is Ji-Si, Gui-You, Geng-Chen, Jia-Shen and therefore has Geng-Chen as its day pillar. A simple “Earth Day Master on Chen” rule cannot explain every part at once.
