Editorially reviewed:

Overview

Heavenly Fortune Noble is a San Ming Tong Hui Officer configuration in which the Day Master’s Direct Officer is present with the branch that serves as that Officer stem’s Lu position—for example, a Jia Day Master using Xin as Officer with You as Xin’s Lu. It is not the general Tian Yi Nobleman, not any Lu Shen hit, and not proof of rank, examinations, writing ability, patronage, wealth, employment, or social privilege.

The rule links a Direct Officer to the Officer stem’s own Lu branch

The classical passage defines 天福貴人 through the Day Master’s Direct Officer and the Lu position of that Officer stem. For a Jia Day Master, Xin is Direct Officer and You is Xin’s Lu; the configuration therefore needs the relevant Officer signal and the matching Lu branch rather than a word-level resemblance to “fortune.”

A reliable check first derives the Direct Officer from Day Stem polarity, then derives that Officer stem’s Lu branch, and finally locates both in the chart. A Lu branch belonging to the Day Master, a different stem, or an unrelated Nobleman table does not satisfy this definition.

  • Derive the Officer stem before looking up its Lu branch.
  • Show the exact stems, branch, pillar positions, and adopted Lu table.

Presence is only the first gate; usable Officer qi still matters

San Ming Tong Hui asks whether the Officer and its Lu are supported, seasonally viable, and assisted by relevant favorable signals. Clash, punishment, breakage, weak qi, damage to the Officer, or mixed authority can reduce or undo the configuration.

This is a named Officer arrangement, not a replacement for the chart’s primary month-command pattern. The review should keep Day Master strength, Officer purity, Finance or Resource support, and competing structures visible instead of treating the two-symbol match as a final grade.

  • Evaluate the Officer after the lookup match is proven.
  • Keep this special configuration subordinate to the full structural reading.

OpenFate does not currently emit a Heavenly Fortune Noble flag

OpenFate can calculate the Day Master, Ten-God relations, branches, roots, Lu Shen markers, and structural evidence used to audit this rule. The current production engine does not expose a dedicated 天福貴人 result, score, or pass/fail label.

This page therefore documents a source-located rule and a reproducible manual check. A future detector would require a locked Officer-to-Lu table, placement policy, mixed-authority handling, fixtures, five-locale labels, and versioned evidence before it could affect reports.

  • Do not present the Wiki definition as a report result.
  • Require deterministic tests and version disclosure before automation.

“Noble” and “fortune” do not prove status or institutional success

The configuration does not prove examination success, academic ability, writing talent, government office, promotion, salary, social class, patronage, family privilege, legal favor, morality, leadership, or wealth. Classical office language reflects a historical administrative world, not a modern credential.

Education, hiring, promotion, finance, and legal decisions require current qualifications, fair procedures, consent, and direct evidence. Never promise prestige or deny opportunity because this configuration is present or absent.

  • Exclude rank, examination, patronage, salary, and character guarantees.
  • Use verified qualifications and equitable processes for real decisions.
