What Is Mutual Executive (交互官星) in BaZi?

Overview
Mutual Executive is the standard English name for 交互官星, a San Ming Tong Hui rule built from paired sexagenary units that “see” official relations in both directions. The source lists six pair examples, including Jia Shen with Yi You, Bing Wu with Ren Zi, and Ding Si with Xin Hai, and requires both sides to be thriving and supported. It also cites a historical chart, but does not supply a complete modern algorithm or say that any two Officer stars qualify. The pattern does not prove mutual benefit, partnership quality, executive power, public office, wealth, fame, or success.

The transmitted rule is a finite pair list with reciprocal relations
The passage lists Jia-Shen with Yi-You, Bing-Wu with Ren-Zi, Yi-Mao with Wu-Shen, Geng-Wu with Ren-Wu, Ding-Si with Xin-Hai, and Gui-Hai with Ding-Si. Its key phrase says the two sides see each other, indicating a reciprocal official relation rather than one isolated Officer star.
The cited Fan Zhongyan chart is historical illustration, not statistical validation. Because the text is brief, editors must not invent additional pairs from surface resemblance or silently convert the list into a compatibility system.

The source explicitly requires thriving, usable qi. A review therefore retains season, roots, position, Day-Master strength, the exact Ten-God direction on both sides, hidden stems, combinations, clashes, and competing structures.
Reciprocal relation is not the same as two positive stars, harmonious people, equal power, or mutual transformation. If only one direction is valid, one unit is damaged, or another rule dominates, the short label cannot replace the full explanation.
