Overview
Four Seasons Convergence is the workbook’s English name for 四時攝聚. The source records five exact pillar pairs: Jia-Yin with Bing-Yin, Ding-Si with Xin-Si, Geng-Shen with Jia-Shen, Ren-Shen with Wu-Shen, and Gui-Hai with Yi-Hai. It assigns Wood–Fire, Metal–Fire, Metal–Water, Water–Earth and Water–Wood gatherings respectively. A cited Shenbai Classic then compresses the idea into four branch directions—Metal–Water at Shen, Fire–Wood at Yin, Water–Wood at Hai and Fire–Earth at Si—and stresses Day–Hour placement. Because the two lists do not align perfectly and the element basis is not fully explained, OpenFate does not normalize them into one detector.

The first passage supplies five complete pillar pairs
The pairs are Jia-Yin with Bing-Yin; Ding-Si with Xin-Si; Geng-Shen with Jia-Shen; Ren-Shen with Wu-Shen; and Gui-Hai with Yi-Hai. Complete pillars matter: sharing only the branch is not enough.
The source labels their gatherings Wood–Fire, Metal–Fire, Metal–Water, Water–Earth and Water–Wood. Because that attribution does not consistently follow only stem element or only Nayin, the basis must remain source-labelled rather than silently standardized.

The Shenbai summary is a second, shorter route
The attributed summary places Metal–Water at Shen, Fire–Wood at Yin, Water–Wood at Hai and Fire–Earth at Si. It says the formation is principally found in Day and Hour.
The passage also says an unfavorable Month Command may still leave benefit, while seasonal qi and generation strengthen the reading. These statements describe context, not a complete pass–fail threshold.
