What Is Dedicated Eating God Combines Lu (專食合祿) in BaZi?

Overview
Dedicated Food God Combining Lu is the working English name for 專食合祿. The source begins with a Wu Earth day and Geng-Shen hour: Geng is Wu’s Food God and reaches its Lu stage in Shen. It then uses a virtual-combination theory in which Geng-Shen draws Yi-Mao, Wu’s Proper Officer, while Jia, Bing, Mao and Yin can damage, fill or interrupt the route. Wu-Wu and Wu-Yin days are specifically difficult to admit, and a month command already forming Wealth or Officer should be read through that ordinary pattern instead. Most importantly, the author’s own note says this can be treated as Heavenly Kitchen Food God and need not be read as combining Lu. OpenFate therefore does not publish a detector for it.

The rule starts from one day-stem and hour-pillar relationship
Wu Earth produces Geng Metal as Food God, and Geng reaches Lu in Shen. That is the visible foundation of the rule. The text then says Geng-Shen can virtually combine with Yi-Mao, supplying Wu’s Proper Officer through an absent target.
This is not a general rule for any Food God that happens to be prosperous. A Wu day without Geng-Shen hour, or a Geng-Shen hour under another Day Master, does not satisfy the stated setup.

- Keep the visible Food God-at-Lu fact separate from the absent Yi-Mao inference.
Filling, damage and an ordinary month pattern can all displace the rare label
Jia can damage Wu, Bing can damage Geng, Mao fills the supposedly absent target and Yin clashes Shen. The source also fears punishment, clash, break and harm, treats Wu-Wu and Wu-Yin days as difficult cases, and prefers a supported Day Master with useful Wealth or Resource.
When the month command already establishes Wealth or Officer, the passage says to read that ordinary structure instead. A later authorial note goes further: this is Heavenly Kitchen Food God and need not be interpreted as combining Lu. That internal caution is part of the definition, not a footnote to hide.

OpenFate calculates a Wu Day Master, Geng-Shen hour, Food God, Lu stage, visible Jia or Bing, branch relations, month command and strength. These facts are sufficient to audit the explicit setup.
It does not insert an absent Yi-Mao pillar or publish Dedicated Food God Combining Lu. A detector would require source-version policy, ordinary-pattern precedence, day exceptions, blockers and luck separation. Existing reports remain unchanged.

Verses about court rank and prosperity are historical rhetoric. They cannot establish employment, promotion, authority, income, examination results, marriage, children, health, danger or lifespan.
Career, financial and family decisions require current evidence and qualified advice. Do not use this rare pattern to promise status or to predict harm to relatives.
