What Is True Official Promotes Official (真官催官) in BaZi?

Overview
True Official Promotes Official is the standard English name for 真官催官, a compressed San Ming Tong Hui rule illustrated by Ji Chou obtaining Jia Yin, Xin Chou obtaining Bing Yin, Geng Chen seeing Yi Mao, and Wu Zi seeing Gui Chou. The passage distinguishes a “one branch before the life unit” true-official relation from an upward “urging office” relation, but does not define a complete modern Day-Master algorithm. Some pairs depend on the older life-stem, branch-step or Three-Fates frame, so they must be transmitted as examples until a versioned table is sourced. The pattern does not guarantee promotion, fame, wealth, office, patronage or career timing.

The source transmits four examples and two directional phrases, not a complete formula
Ji Chou obtaining Jia Yin and Xin Chou obtaining Bing Yin are linked to “one branch before the life unit” and called True Official. Geng Chen seeing Yi Mao and Wu Zi seeing Gui Chou are described as moving upward from below and called urging office.
These compressed pairings do not all reduce transparently to a modern Day-Master Ten-God lookup. A responsible article preserves the characters and direction language and does not fill the remaining stems through surface symmetry.
