Overview
Eight Specials and Prosperity is the workbook’s English name for 八專祿旺. The passage preserves several transmitted lists but ultimately identifies Jia-Yin, Yi-Mao, Geng-Shen and Xin-You as the four core days whose stem and branch share a self-Lu, prosperous relation. Jia and Yi routes favor a complete Wood environment; Geng and Xin routes favor a complete Metal environment. Purity, month support and usable Wealth, Resource or Food relations still matter, while mixed Officer and Killing or disruptive Peer relations can break the route. This layer is related to, but not identical with, the separate Eight Specials list. OpenFate does not declare the pattern.

The source returns to four core self-Lu prosperous days
The passage records additions, exclusions and related categories before naming Jia-Yin, Yi-Mao, Geng-Shen and Xin-You as the core days. A reliable implementation preserves those layers rather than publishing one blended lookup table.
The separate Eight Specials entry uses a different eight-day list from another passage. “Related” does not mean interchangeable, and every result should state the source and list version used.

The text values usable Wealth, Resource and Food, and warns that mixed Officer and Killing or disruptive Peer and Rob Wealth relations can prevent Lu from remaining exclusive. These are chart-specific tests, not fixed moral labels.
