What Is Power Seizes Creation (功奪造化) in BaZi?

Overview
Power Seizes Creation is the workbook’s English name for 功奪造化. It is a narrow Nayin Five-Phase formation: Year, Month, Day and Fetus all occupy dead, extinct or qi-less positions, while Hour alone occupies the natal Nayin phase’s own birth or prosperity position. The source lists Gui-You, Wu-Wu, Bing-Zi, Geng-Zi and Xin-Mao as self-prosperity examples, and Xin-Si, Bing-Yin, Ji-Hai, Jia-Shen and Wu-Shen as self-birth examples. These are complete sexagenary pillars, not branch-only labels. A final sentence compares luck and annual years with the birth Hour but supplies no reproducible algorithm. Four qi-less positions and one Hour rescue are all required
Evaluation begins with the natal Nayin phase, then checks Year, Month, Day and Fetus separately for the cited qi-less condition. Hour must be a complete self-birth or self-prosperity pillar within the same Nayin system.
A four-pillar chart with no Fetus evidence, one or two weak pillars, a weak Day Master, or an Hour branch at a Twelve Life Stage peak does not satisfy this five-position Nayin rule.

Keep self-birth and self-prosperity example sets distinct
The passage associates Gui-You, Wu-Wu, Bing-Zi, Geng-Zi and Xin-Mao with self-prosperity for different natal Nayin phases. It separately lists Xin-Si, Bing-Yin, Ji-Hai, Jia-Shen and Wu-Shen as self-birth positions.
Its instruction to compare Luck Pillars and annual years with the birth Hour does not define layer, clash priority, combination effects or weights. That sentence cannot support an automated forecast.
